13-star Old Glory Flag. Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, N. Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, S. Carolina and Virginia.
Officially became the U.S. flag on June 14, 1777. Though there is no conclusive proof, it is said that Francis Hopkinson, a congressman from New Jersey and a signer of the Declaration of Independence is credited with designing the flag. The only President to serve under this flag was George Washington (1789-1797). The flag lasted for a period of 18 years.
