Mississippi Flag. Heavyweight durable nylon flag finished with a strong canvas heading and two brass grommets.
The state flag was commissioned by committee and approved by legislative action on February 7, 1894. The flag has three stripes of red, white and blue. In the red canton field there is a broad blue saltier with a white border and on this has thirteen stars for the original States of the Union.
